The Larson Davis Model 824 combines a sound level meter and real-time analyzer capabilities in a compact, rugged unit.  It provides the user with 5 virtual instruments, including: Integrating Sound Level Meter (ISM), Sound Spectrum Analyzer (SSA), Logging Sound Level Meter (SLM), Real Time Frequency Analyzer (RTA), and Fast Fourier Transform Analyzer (FFA).  This meter can be used for environmental monitoring, as well as industrial hygiene and operator comfort.
